Mounting Options
Hydromaster thrusters offer flexible mounting options, tailored to meet specific client needs. They can be installed in three diferent configurations:
Inboard installation – the steerable thruster can be mounted from either the top or bottom, using bolted or weld-in configurations.
Deck-mounted installation – fully self-contained outboard thrusters, featuring an integrated prime mover that can be powered by a diesel engine, electric motor, or a hydraulic pump/motor combination.
Hybrid installation – Features an inboard engine with the propulsion unit mounted outside.

Thruster Control System
The Hydromaster Thruster Control System offers hand follow-up control for both steering and thrust, along with an independent non-follow-up system for emergency and backup operations.
Designed using standard modular components, the system seamlessly integrates with diesel engines, electric motors, or hydraulic motors as propulsion sources. For steering, it interfaces with either a hydraulic or electric steering system
Alternative propultion
Steerable Jet
The Steerable Jet is a fully 360° steerable thruster featuring a horizontal propeller, with the thrust nozzle integrated flush with the hull.
Its streamlined design, with no external components protruding from the hull, makes it ideal for shallow-draft vessels operating in limited-depth waters.
It can be used either as main propulsion or as bow thruster for auxiliary propulsion and/or loiter drive.
Fully tested and CFD modelled for optimised water flow and maximum thrust.
