Deck Mounted Propulsion Units
Hydromaster’s deck-mounted propulsion units are fully self-contained outboard propulsion units with a prime mover that can either be a diesel engine, electric motor or hydraulic pump/motor combination.
The vertical stem can be tilted for cleaning and maintenance with its length tailored to your vessel design and depth adjustable to cater for shallow waters.
Acoustic soundproof canopies are available as an option, as are waterproof canopies for coastal applications.
The Original Series
The original Hydromaster Series 2 and Series 3 outboard propulsion unit is available in a power range of 80-260 hp. It is treasured the world over for its mechanical design, ease of installation, operation and maintenance. All the more reason to keep the original design unchanged.
Through Hull
Engine fitted on deck with Thruster fitted in a Through Hull well. Thruster can be lifted for inspection and or maintenance by (deck) crane. Suitable for a horizontal prime mover like a diesel engine or horizontal electric motor.
